We have over 20,000 signatures calling on Boris Johnson to sack Priti Patel

78 percent of voters who took part in a poll said Priti Patel is failing to do a good job. The number of migrants crossing the English Channel in small boats has risen almost one hundred-fold according to Home Office data. Boris Johnson has admitted that Priti Patel’s efforts “haven’t been enough”.

When Britain left the EU at the start of 2020, it was no longer able to use the bloc's system of returning migrants to the first member state they entered.  There has been no word from Priti Patel on providing safe routes to the UK for asylum seekers.

Yvette Cooper, the shadow home secretary has established a formidable reputation as Chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee and will expose Priti Patel's failings.
