Pigs being farmed indoors have a horrible life. They have no access to sunlight until their slaughter date. And only then, it is just the journey from the shed to the trailer. How is it fair to keep pigs in this conditions. At all times they will be kept on pens about twice their size. There can easily be 200 pigs in a shed. Young piglets that are not wanted are shot and so are ill boars (male) and sows (female). We must allow these pigs acess to sunlight and a larger space. Can you really eat the meat from animals that have been kept in this condition? How could you ignore this?
