First of all, I would like to give gratitude for your support and participation in spreading the petition. 

Let me give you some updates on the concern we have raised as a community. 

Al alhamdulillah, we have made our positive efforts to get our message through.

2 x direct letters to PMO from community organisations
25 x direct emails to local Ministers by community members
2x zoom meetings with Local MPs to discuss our concern.
1 x immediate phone call to Pakistan High commissioner to request support and intervention into this matter (which they are already doing).

Next Step: 

The petition data is ready, and I will submit it to PMO with another letter of request soon to look at the matter and cc Minister Chris Hopkin and other affiliated ministers. 

As we all know, our beloved PM is going through under tremendous amount of pressure due to the current Covid situation, and I firmly believe it’s beyond the point to look at our petition or request at this time. 

We have made genuine efforts Insha'Allah, things would get better soon.
