Today I have spoken to a few local MPs & the Pakistan High Commission office to raise this concern and request them to chip in to support us.

According to Chris Hopkin (covid19 Response Minister) statement "Countries will be initially designated 'very high risk' when there have been more than 50 cases of Covid-19 per 1000 arrivals to New Zealand from those countries in 2021, and where there are more than 15 travellers on average per month." (Published/ 23rd April 2021 on RNZ)

According to Hopkin's statement above, Pakistan does not meet the required number, so Pakistan should not fall into the very high-risk category. I believe it is a biased decision of the New Zealand government to add Pakistan to the list.

I request all the members who have signed this petition from New Zealand to please copy the letter and to send it to PMO and your LOCAL MP with your name on it. (MPs contact List attached as a link)
