Jacinda Ardern Announces Ban on Semi-automatic Weapons

Kia ora koutou, 

You may have heard Jacinda Ardern has announced a ban on semi-automatic weapons today. At the moment they have been reclassified to make them unobtainable. Legislative change is to follow. 

I was invited by an organiser of another petition to present our petition in Wellington this week, but wasn't able to do so at such short notice. I was also keeping in mind that Jacinda Ardern was being regularly advised on how many people had signed our petition. She has heard our support. 

I'm keeping the petition open until there is also legislative change in the beginning of April. We currently have over 7,600 signatures. Thankyou all so much!
