Recently I've been feeling nostalgic for the days when we kept watch for Izzy's Christmas, birthday or New Year's tweet. So I thought it would be nice to surprise you all with an #izzyconcert2018 petition update. (Has it really been four years since the last update!)
We have finally arrived at 2,400 signatures. And yes, we're all still here. And the petition is still going, still asking Izzy for a live concert of his solo music - whenever, wherever, and however.
Since the last petition update, I took some time out to pull together 275 multiple-choice quiz questions (original 'Quizzy' night questions, plus some new ones - no AI was used!!!), mostly about Izzy's solo music, into a book: "The Izzy Stradlin Quiz Book". It is available on Amazon (see graphic above), in paperback or online formats.
As usual with our Izzy projects, all proceeds from sales of the book will be donated to the Ealing Soup Kitchen charity supporting homeless people in my local area here in West London.
This book is the most "real" and comprehensive written and published collection of information about Izzy Stradlin available anywhere, so do get yourself a copy, if even only as a keepsake. Some lovely pieces of Izzy fan artwork have been included too. Every quiz answer is supported with a direct source link so you can read up some more.
