Thank you, once again, to everyone who has signed this petition! As many of you will know, March 12th marked the first anniversary of Terry Pratchett's death, and there is to be a memorial in his name on the 14th of April this year. Terry famously wrote that "a man is not dead while his name is still spoken", and so it's particularly pleasing that his name is in the April edition of Nature Chemistry, in a paper entitled "Another Four Bricks in the Wall" (link below). This paper is a discussion piece on all of the possible names for the new elements, and I've heard on the grapevine that someone from RIKEN (the Japanese research group) has already seen it.
