Hello Homies! I'm sorry it's been a while since we last updated. Chronic illness really does get in the way of campaigning! lol As these things do, the campaign has slowed down a bit, but we are still wanting to fight on. We still want ITV to know they've made a very stupid mistake and that us fans aren't going anywhere! As always, the most important thing we need from you all is to spread the word of the campaign and the petition. We need more signatures and more fans who are willing to help the campaign. Please share the details all over social media, your blogs etc... Don't forget we have the brilliant website at www.savehomefires.com The most important thing any campaign needs is publicity and this is where you all come in. We had a letter printed in What's on TV (a tv magazine here in the UK) sent in by our very own Jess Taylor. She was the "star letter" and we had a huge spike in signatures on the petition on the day of release and for days after! So we know just what a big difference publicity can make. There are still so many viewers who aren't aware it's been axed, so we need lots of you to write to all your local newspapers, magazines etc.... and get the word out there. All details and advice on what to write will be added to the website later, on the Letterstorms section. So keep a look out and get writing!! For those of you on Twitter and Facebook, we are having a Home Fires Halloween and we hope lots of you will come along and join in.
