This timely and matter-of-fact article presents the very genuine threats to suburban life when canopy trees are removed. Right now, GUST and our associated groups are working hard to have the Free Trees policy reinstated. Policy reviews go hand in hand with new strategies....and each and every email to the Council or your local Councillor asking them "what are you doing to deliver more trees..?" helps create a wave of public opinion on this issue.
