Condo & HOA warriors! The fraud and abuse has not stopped. Corrupt Property Managers, Boards and Attorneys are more emboldened than ever because there are no consequences they are organized and will not stop thats why we must continue to fight and have our voices heard. Perseverance is the key to success “a river cuts through a rock not because of its power, but its persistence.”
There was a town hall this past Thursday with Secretary of DBPR Beshears and Senator Jason Pizzo. Its a big deal! This is the first time the Secretary has decided to meet with the victims, with the community.
Secretary Beshears is the only one who can do something and we need answers:
1. Why did the DBPR return to the state of Floridas General Fund around $ 3 Million of its budget DOLLARS that could have been used to TRAIN and HIRE new “investigators” or attorneys to enforce their subpoena power?
2. Why does DBPR not use its subpoena power to demand that the associations give them the documents?
3. Why does the DBPR not use its power to remove members of corrupt board of directors?
4. Why does the DBPR not use its power to impose civil fines on board members who break the law?
5. Why does the DBPR not hire trained people with a curriculum and professional background in tax, civil, legal, law enforcement matters such as retired or past law enforcement, police, detectives, and retired prosecutors
6. Why is the annual report of the DBPR focus only CLOSED cases without solving the problem its needs to be refocused to focus on how cases were RESOLVED
