Consultation Sessions

Leaflets are being distributed at the island's family centres regarding a series of consultation sessions to be held at various play groups in the first week of April. No play groups are to run after this in April. A new timetable will be released at the end of April for dates in May and onwards. Although our point is that we had no say in the changes that have already been made, resulting in the loss of the Early Years support workers - something that is extremely unlikely to change - I would urge you to attend these sessions to provide your feedback and also see how sessions are to be affected going forwards. A shame we're still waiting to hear a statement from the Council. Nearly a month after the cuts were made and they remain very silent.
