Leah Remini's show Scientology and the Aftermath is gearing up for its third season. Leah's show gets the attention of the IRS. 2. David Kautter is the Acting IRS Commissioner. As such, he is not the one to deliver our petition to as he will not be remaining onboard as Commissioner. 3. President Trump has nominated Charles “Chuck” Rettig to be the permanent IRS Commissioner. By law, this is a five year appointment and Mr. Rettig must be confirmed by a vote of the US Senate. 4. Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah has said he looks forward to the confirmation hearings for Mr. Rettig. However, this may take several months. Please see the article I have attached. 5. As soon as Mr. Rettig is confirmed and takes office, I will begin work to get a meeting with him. I have every confidence that a meeting will occur where I present our petition.
