As has been widely shared on FB, Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms, Leah Remini won an Emmy yesterday for her A&E Show "Scientology and the Aftermath." We congratulate Leah Remini, Mike Rinder, A&E, Leah's A&E team, and all of Leah's courageous guests.
Leah's Emmy win was a validation of her valiant efforts to share the very personal and traumatic stories of those who have been harmed by the Church of Scientology and its brutal and inhumane practices.
Scientology continues to spend tax-exempt dollars savagely attacking Leah, A&E, and her guests. The attacks contain distortions, fabrications, and outright lies. This is Scientology Fair Game at work. This Scientology hate speech is not religious activity and it should not benefit from religious tax exemption.
If Scientology wonders why its reputation is worse than a radioactive slag heap it need only look at itself in the mirror.
The Church of Scientology must lose its tax exemption. Leah's show has done so much to raise public awareness about just how depraved the Church of Scientology really is.
