The Church of Scientology is designed to be deliberately misleading. For example, legally speaking, there is no such entity as the "Church of Scientology." This what Scientology told the IRS in its 1992 application for tax exemption. The link to my article on Scientology's corporate structure is posted below.
Scientology continues to attack Leah Remini's Emmy-nominated show Scientology and the Aftermath on A&E.
Scientology is using tax-exempt dollars to launch sleazy attacks on Leah, her guests, and A&E's executives. Why must we as taxpayers subsidize Scientology's hate speech?
Scientology uses the roads, police and fire protection, and all of the other government infrastructure and pays no taxes towards these services. Worse, Scientology for years has sent it's sick Sea Org members to county hospitals where they are instructed to pose as indigents in order to receive free medical care at the taxpayer's expense.
The Scientology fraud and scam must be put to and end. Please continue to share the petition. Your support matters.
