Greyhound tested positive for Acepromazine at Lifford track
A greyhound has tested positive for a prohibited substance at Lifford track.
At the track on 7th June 2026, Acepromazine was detected in 3-year-old greyhound Camacho. (Owner/Trainer: Sean Maxwell).
Between January 2025 and July 2026, Camacho was used in 33 races at Lifford and Drumbo Park tracks, with prize money of €1,420.
He has since been exported to the UK and is now being used in racing at Sheffield track.
