Please join the "Ban Greyhound Racing" protest on Saturday 12th September 2026 (5.15pm to 7.15pm) outside Shelbourne Park Stadium, South Lotts Road, Dublin, D04 W5C3. 

The protest coincides with the 2026 Derby Final (shamefully sponsored by BoyleSports).

With bans on greyhound racing recently announced in Wales, Scotland and New Zealand, it's time for the Irish Government to act to bring this cruel, dog-killing gambling activity to an end.

The latest stats show that greyhounds are continuing to suffer and die at races around Ireland. Between January and July this year, 151 greyhounds suffered injuries at races and 89 were killed. Behind the scenes, thousands of greyhounds are killed in Ireland every year because they are not fast enough. How many more dogs have to suffer and die before Ireland follows other countries in banning greyhound racing?
