In the May 24th local and Euro elections in Ireland I will NOT be voting for ANY candidate who supports cruel practices such as fox hunting, live hare coursing, and fur farming... nor for anyone representing a party that endorses these forms of deliberate animal cruelty.
 
Far too often at election time, people who are genuinely horrified by these cruelties forget that by voting for pro-blood sport candidates they are helping to prolong the agony for the unfortunate animals.
 
We must follow through on our opposition to animal cruelty practices by NOT voting for those parties and individuals who perpetuate these horrors. Instead we can give our backing to candidates and parties that share our abhorrence of animal cruelty dressed up as "sport"...
