Many thanks to all who seek protection of Ireland’s wildlife from organised animal cruelty posing as “sport”, including organizations and individuals worldwide who have lobbied the Irish government on the issue. Sadly, though 2012 saw some progress in the campaign against hare coursing and fox hunting, it also witnessed the passing of a long-time campaigner who had worked for many decades to end the suffering of these animals.
