The crest, logo, or badge of a national football team should represents the identity, history, and footballing heritage of a nation. While the current IFF badge has served the national team well since 2000, it is time to upgrade it to reflect the proud history of the Iranian National Football team. 

This petition asks the honorable president of the Iran Football Federation, Mr. Mehdi Taj, to consider a rebranding of the IFF crest in time for the 2018 World Cup and in celebration of the 98th, and 70th years of its establishment and FIFA affiliation respectively. 

We also ask that the IFF and responsible parties hold a national design competition and allow all national team fans to have a say in choosing the new crest.
