Dear supporters of Maryam & Behtash,

thank you again for your massive outpour of support earlier this year! It might not seem to amount to much in the face of this world's troubles, but your outcry has made a positive impact on the eventual verdict that the Iranian court passed on the two filmmakers.

It has also made Maryam & Behtash themselves feel very seen, supported and loved by friends and strangers around the world. This support is vital to anyone at risk.

At this time, we — the International Coalition for Filmmakers at Risk — are coming to you with a humble question: 

Would you be willing to support other filmmakers at risk as well?

If yes, please take a look at our new petition for Korean filmmaker Jung Yoon-suk, appealing his verdict (first a monetary fine, now a one-year prison sentence) for having dared to document the country's civil riots at Seoul's Western District Court last January.
