It has taken 2 years of campaigning, but finally IPSA (the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority) has agreed to do a consultation to assess the public appetite as to whether MPs should get paid parental leave.This is a huge leap forwards, and you can respond to the consultation and show your support. The more supportive messages they receive, the more likely they are to implement paid parental leave for MPs. We have broken down the questions and provided example answers in the link attached. All you have to do is copy and paste the example answers into an email (or feel free to add your own answers) before the 1st of March and you could be instrumental in changing policies in Westminster that will ensure we have more female MPs.
