Iowa voters have been inundated with a barrage of political ads, primarily funded by out of state groups that have no interest or awareness of the issues that are important to the citizen of our state.  Iowa should prohibit those groups from trying to influence our votes and hopefully allow our candidates to speak to the issues rather than rely on the misleading or false negative positions contained within these ads.  Iowa can enforce our right as a State to protect our voting freedom from outside influence.  If we do not act as an independant state and wait for the Federal Government to challenge the Supreme Court or to enact an amendment to our Federal Constitution we may never see our legitimate voting rights restored.
