Dango for Iowa City Downtown District's Nighttime Mayor.

   Iowa City, a college town of 76,000 people, is in need of a new Nighttime Mayor that has leadership entities that are dedicated to the success of the arts and of entertainment experiences of our Iowa City Downtown District.

Dango will make it happen.

The nighttime mayor role was created to better engage with businesses open after traditional business hours and was inspired by similar roles in Europe, especially Amsterdam. The full-time position will be supported by the district’s new Nightlife, Arts and Culture Council.

Dango is the man for the job.
