Update or Fix the Druid's Feral Specializaton

Update or Fix the Druid's Feral Specializaton
The Issue
It is the beginning of a new expansion and the outlook for the Feral Specialization is looking very grim. Many of us who leveled to 120 as Feral struggled to kill mobs as fast as our contemporaries, still leveled with optimism that things would get better at 120 with some gear. It has not.
Feral is currently sitting at the bottom of all damage specializations and struggles to compete in damage with healers and tanks in group content. This is compounded by the fact that the utility the spec brings to any group is not as crucial or effective as other classes. There has been much public outcry about how the spec is treated by random players (never invited to group content, kicked from dungeons) and is situated to only become worse in the next couple of weeks.
Before one thinks this is player error, and Druids have not figured out the correct way to play it. Every avenue has been exhausted in terms of playstyle and figuring out the viability of the spec at all intervals of item levels currently available to max level. Everyone who plays the spec including those who have played it since the inception of its viability agrees that it is impossible to play it competitively at this juncture, many of whom agree this spec has not been in a worse position since classic wow. This is not about being buffed to the top of the damage meters. It is simply about not handicapping our friends who want to play with us, and to experience content in the game the way we want to without being severely punished.
Those who play feral have a lot of practice time and have to apply themselves very hard to master the spec. Asking those who play it to reroll is unfair because it is one of the most unique and challenging playstyles in the game, the satisfaction granted from playing a different class or spec will not be equal.
Understandably Blizzard was on a tight deadline to get out some of the most and best content we have seen released at one time and the community is incredibly grateful for getting this wonderful expansion out so early, and we understand some tuning is bound to be needed. Those who play the spec really just want to know if changes will happen at some point before the challenging content is released, so time is not wasted gearing up a useless class. Much of the challenging content is currently locked, but action needs to be taken soon. There have been handfuls of forum posts on constructive ways to fix the spec, but this is about getting Blizzard to outright tell us that something is in the works.
By signing this petition we ask Blizzard to end the radio silence and to publically acknowledge a specialization that seems to have fallen by the wayside.
