I am posting a quick update.  First and foremost I want to thank EVERYONE who took time out of their day to review, sign and share my petition.  I am very grateful for the support!  To my JT customers thank you for the words of encouragement!  I have the BEST customers ever!!!  And dogs too!!!  I love all my customers on my route!

My union got me back to work today.  I'm very grateful to them!  The USPS gave me a PDI (Pre-Disciplinary Interview) for starting this petition.  While I haven't received any formal discipline or retaliation yet, they definitely want me to shut up.  The #1 thing the USPS hates the most is bad publicity.   I've reached a point I do not care anymore because they've done everything to me the past 3 1/2 years.  I no longer fear retaliation or termination.  And I am searching for a different career so this only strengthens my resolve to speak out against them.  But I am not just speaking out for myself, I am speaking out on behalf of thousands of city carriers, rural carriers, mailhandlers and clerks who I know go through unchecked abuse and harassment by management at USPS.

My cases were severe.  And after 3 Emergency Placements where the USPS tried to fire me 3 times in the last 3 1/2 years, it is time to let the public know what exactly is going on at USPS.  I've been with them 12 1/2 years and every year seems to get worse than before.  This is absolutely the most stressful and toxic work environment I have ever experienced in my life.  And something needs to be done about it.  USPS employees desperately need the public's help.

USPS managers have unchecked authority.  They can ruin an employee's career and life in the blink of an eye.  I've had 2 Postmasters in this current office.  The first was so desperate to get rid of me she helped 2 coworkers abuse me on a daily basis.  She also lied to USPS Inspectors that i threatened to kill everyone in my office.  When that didn't work, she resorted to lying to her boss that I pushed her in order to get into the work building.  This was my first Emergency Placement.  I filed complaints with EVERYONE about this Postmaster and was ignored by EVERYONE.  Eventually they gave her a huge raise and moved her to an office closer to her home.  This is how USPS deals with abusive managers.  They promote them.

The current Postmaster has put me on Emergency Placement twice the last 2 years.  First for a parking incident and the most recent listed above, for a socks issue.

This is what USPS does to its employees.  They have unchecked abuse and authority and there is no oversight or consequence for anything they do.  If a Postmaster doesn't like you, they can ruin your career or life.  The USPS inspectors and the Office of Inspector General ignore our complaints.

This is why I and all of these USPS employees need the public's help.  We need you in our corner.  We need you to start talking about this.  We need you guys to care about us because the USPS certainly doesn't.  Please share with ANYONE and EVERYONE.  Please get the word out!  Thank you very much!!!!
