LaShon Anderson-BrayNowhere, NJ, United States
Mar 4, 2026

I want to share exactly why I refuse to back down. My strength isn't just a choice; it is a direct reflection of the four family lines that make up my DNA. When I fight for my family's rights and my daughter’s education, I am standing on the shoulders of the Moores, the Andersons, the Jacksons, and the Brays.

The Moore Heritage (My Grandmother’s Line)

This is the foundation of my spirit. In Florida and New Jersey, the Moores were educators, pioneers, and civil rights leaders. The name means "Noble" and "Mighty." My ancestors fought for the right to a fair education. When I protect my daughter’s path as a scholar, I am carrying the torch of the Moores.

The Jackson Legacy (My Father’s Line – "Freedom")

My father went by the name Freedom, and that spirit is the heartbeat of my fight. The Jackson name is one of independence and resilience, but the name "Freedom" is a mandate. It means I was born to break chains, to speak truth to power, and to refuse any form of mental or physical "squatting." I am a daughter of Freedom, and I will not be intimidated.

The Anderson Strength (My Grandfather’s Line)

This lineage is defined by being "sons of strength." It comes from a history of people who were among the first to stand up for their rights and claim their place in this country. They provided the solid ground so the next generation could climb higher. That Anderson strength is what allows me to face any opposition without wavering.

The Bray Protection (My Married Line)

This name translates to "The Hill" or "The High Ground." It defines my role as a watchman. A person on a hill sees the danger before anyone else does. My job is to stand on that high ground and be the shield for my family against the "marshes" below.

The Full Picture

I am a descendant of noble educators, a daughter of Freedom, a pillar of strength, and a protector on the hill. I don't just "act" this way—it is woven into my DNA. I come from a line of people who navigated the toughest terrains to reach the heights, and I will do the same for my family.

Thank you for standing with a legacy that refuses to be broken.
