Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone supporting this movement. Today is about love, but let’s talk about a love that goes beyond cards and candy: the love for our community and our future.

It is easy to get caught up in the "us vs. them" of politics, but while we are busy fighting each other, the system stays exactly the same. We’ve seen it happen for over 40 years—cycles that repeat themselves while the people in power receive pay increases and the rest of us inherit the same old problems.

Our goal is simple:

• Stop the Infighting: It isn't just about one party or another; it's about a system that has outgrown the people it was meant to serve.

• Real Representation: We need everyday, ordinary people in these offices—people who live the reality of these issues every day.

• Breaking the Cycle: We are 172 strong now, but we need to keep pushing to ensure the next 40 years don't look like the last 40.
