DRIVERS: You need to push for Congressional hearings into broker transparency, unlicensed brokerage, and double brokering, at which, @SecretaryPete should be called to testify on what, if anything, USDOT has done to enforce the Federal Evasion of Regulation Law (49 USC §14906. Evasion of regulation of carriers and brokers):  "A person, or an officer, employee, or agent of that person, that by any means tries to evade regulation provided under this part for carriers or brokers is liable to the United States for a civil penalty of at least $2,000 for the first violation and at least $5,000 for a subsequent violation, and may be subject to criminal penalties."

This is how Congress can best decide whether broker oversight should be transferred to another Department, agency, or independent commission and whether certain @FMCSA officials should be investigated for corruption, conspiracy, collusion, and/or enabling restraint of trade.
