After getting 100+ signatures because seeing is disbelieving, I e-mailed Beverly Block Watch with our petition; still no reply. But by the next day, I discovered they preemptively silenced our voice by removing me from the neighborhood Facebook group! Evidently, this is retaliation for our petition. So, what is our next move?

Are we going to do nothing and just let them sweep the mind-boggling fiasco under the rug, hoping no one else notices and it’ll blow over? Absolutely not. Use your voice to tell them we won’t be silenced by sending an e-mail to BeverlyBlockWatch@gmail.com!

Ask them why I was removed, why they're still withholding the annual Google map of entries from the neighbors after 30 days since the announcement of the backwards results, why they’re trying to silence us to hide the fiasco instead of admitting and remedying it, and why they’re opposed to democracy with our proposed solution of switching future contests to a neighborhood-wide ranked choice voting (RCV) online system! Inquiring minds want to know!

But whatever it is, please refrain from using foul language and make sure you don’t write your e-mail in a hateful or hostile manner; like how the petition is written with conviction, but also with civility, please strive to use your voice in the same way, would you kindly?
