Our politicians and the Canadian government want and accept that our country remains the last colony in the world, the only country where multinationals do not pay quantitative royalties on natural resources extracted in Canada.

Quantitative royalties are the most secure source of revenue for a country. They distribute more equitably the wealth generated by a country’s natural resources with the population and at the same time avoid attempts to corrupt and waste these resources.

It is time for the Canadian parliament to start analyzing and deciding on issues that are truly essential for the development of our country. For example, another important thing that can advance Canada in all areas of our society will be a new Constitution for Canada, modern and perfectible, written in a single official text.  To see    https://chng.it/Sq9fkBcRbD  

Are the Canadians consulted? Maybe now is the time to ask our politicians to put in public discussion the really important problems for our society.
