We are delighted to see our petition calling for a levy on large venue ticket sales to support grassroots music venues hit 2500 signatures... but there is still so much more we need to do!

The reality is, unless we keep this demand at the forefront of the arts agenda, we will lose more and more grassroots music venues - just like we did with Moles in Bath last year and now, sadly, The Chameleon in Nottingham.

That is why I am now asking you to once again share this petition as far and wide as you possibly can.  The next target is 5000 so let's smash that this week and have as many signatures as we possibly can in time for the inevitable announcement of a general election in the coming months.  Let's ensure any candidate asking for your vote in the election is prepared to fight tooth and nail for this cause.
