Important: please re-sign HMO petition — we're moving to the official council petition

Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for signing my petition to introduce fair limits and control the spread of HMOs in Cambridge— it means a lot that 338 of you have shown your support.
Unfortunately, I've found out that Cambridge City Council only formally recognises petitions submitted through their own official system.
That means your signatures won't count toward the 500 needed to trigger a full council debate, which we would very much like to have.
I know it's a pain to sign twice, but I've set up an official petition on the council's own platform, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take just 60 seconds to sign again there:
[NEW CAMBRIDGE COUNCIL PETITION]
Once we hit 500 signatures on the official system, the council is obliged to debate the issue — so every signature really does matter.
Please also share the new link (which I've shortened to bit.ly/HMOPetition) with friends, family, and neighbours. We can get there!
Thank you again for your support.
