Just a brief update on our petition for the reinstatement of passenger rail services to Mildura....

We have over 1500 signatures to our petition and we have various  attempts to meet with the Minister for Transport to present this to the government and argue the very strong merits of our case.

We have sought the assistance of Martha Haylett, Member for Ripon in again requesting the Minister for such a meeting.

I am sure we will have a positive response soon, now that parliament has  recommenced for the year.

In the meantime, can I ask you to share this petition  to your friends on Facebook or other social media platforms

We should be using this time to add to our numbers in support of our case.

Thank you for the effort so far in getting this message out there.

Here's hoping 2025 will be the year that government honors long standing commitments as well as follow through with stated party policy in restring passenger rail services to Mildura and the many community  along the line.
