We have surpassed a thousand signatures!
Thank you all for your support, this is a great first step towards cleansing our entertainments from censorship.

The next step is to make Japan aware of what we're doing. If we get Japanese people to know about our petition, the fight over there will stop being Japan VS the West and will become Japan AND the West VS Censorship.

In order to achieve this goal, I ask that everyone who signed this petition tags a few individuals on Twitter: Akamatsu Ken (mangaka and creator of Love Hina and Mahou Sensei Negima!, elected to the House of Councillors), アニポリ通信記 (content creator and blogger that talks about political correctness issues in the West) and whoever else you might know that could help spread the news.

When tagging @KenAkamatsu and @anipoli_ (and whoever else you might have chosen), use the hashtags #ProtectJapaneseAnimeAndGames and #日本のアニメやゲームを守ろう on your posts alongside this petition's shortened URL (https://chng.it/Pgj597FD8q) and a short message stating why it's important for you that this petitions succeeds.

Short messages are the best option, since most Japanese people don't understand English and will likely utilize machine translations when reading your posts. Long and complex messages might be mistranslated, so keeping it short will ensure accuracy.

I also ask that you be mindful of spamming. We want to make Japan aware of our efforts to protect the anime, manga and gaming industries, but we don't want to annoy them and hinder their jobs. If everyone contributes to this step, one post per person should be more than enough.

Once again, thank you all for the support, but our fight does not end here. We have to keep fighting until we kick the censors out of our hobbies for good!
