Atualização do abaixo-assinadoIntroduce A Code of Ethics for Localization of Japanese Media・ローカライゼーションの倫理規定Thank you all for 600+ signatures! + update subsections 1.a. and 1.b.

We have reached almost 700 signatures in less than 4 days! I did not expect this to blow up so fast, thank you all for your support!

Goes to show that the Western market is not aligned with the localization industry's desires. Woolseyms, name changes, toning down sexual or violent terms, changing the tone of scene, etc. are all behaviors not accepted by the target audience of these products, and we are no longer going to just take it.

With that said, I have received complaints about subsections 1.a. and 1.b. I had those in order to address grey areas where changes could be deemed necessary, but I guess we have been burned out so much by the unnecessary changes that people are just not willing to compromise in that area.

As such, in order to respect the wishes of those signing this petition, 1.a. and 1.b. are no longer valid.

Once again, thank you all for the support and let's continuing pushing this forward. We will deliver the petition to Akamatsu Ken once we reach a thousand signatures and make Japan aware that we want to defend the Japanese industry as much as they do!
