The RIAA will now include on-demand audio and video streams as a track sale equivalent in their US certifications.
Sadly, a lot of Lady Gaga's music isn't certified and needs to be updated. Hopefully with this new rule, they'll consider giving her the certifications she deserves plus even more for the on-demand streams
