Last week, the European Ministers for Culture met to discuss actions to support Ukraine. While there, they pledged to support institutions "willing to host Ukrainian artists, journalists and cultural and media professionals, in order to allow them to continue their activity and thus preserve their freedom of creation and expression."
They also pledged to use "any available European programme and framework...and in particular Creative Europe for artists affected by the military aggression against Ukraine."

This is GREAT news and follows the main pledge in our letter: “Our organisations are ready to receive and host artists, to stage performances, to organise events, to inform and facilitate access to resources, to advocate for a peaceful solution. But we cannot do this alone.”
We will keep pushing!
