While countries are sovereign and entitled to create and enforce their own laws, the international community has the right and the responsibility to stand up and say no when a nation's leader allows the everyday occurrence of crimes against humanity.

This is the principle and the reason that the International Criminal Court exists and has jurisdiction worldwide over such crimes. No person should ever be entitled to allow the slaughter of innocent life, the destruction of basic human rights, and the disregard of decency - and any who is should be held fully accountable for each and every one of their actions.

Any individual has the entitlement to communicate information on any alleged crime to the Office of the Prosecutor (OTP) of the International Criminal Court, and the purpose of this petition is to show that more than just an individual believes that this institution has a humanitarian responsibility to step in and investigate and hold to account the current President of the United States.

The signers of this petition hereby demand that the Office of the Prosecutor undertakes their responsibility in accordance with international law, to investigate fully President Donald J. Trump for crimes against humanity since his inauguration on January 20, 2017. This includes all breaches of human rights, namely, but not limited to; His dehumanization of migrants and refugees from multiple countries; His frequent failure to acknowledge Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights) in his policy making, both domestic and foreign; His disregard for Article 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment); and his frequent comments which cause and encourage additional crimes by individuals sympathetic to his ideology.

In addition, it is furthermore demanded by the signers of this petition, that the OTP ensures that recent events, including, but not limited to; The policy of the separation of children from families; The loss of 1,500 migrant children; and the murder of a refugee teenager in Texas by an ICE officer, are all formally investigated and all individuals responsible are held to account and prosecuted in accordance with international law where this has jurisdiction over domestic federal U.S. laws.

For all signers;

You do not have to be a citizen of the United States in order to request that the OTP investigate crimes against humanity committed by Donald Trump. Under the rules of the ICC, any individual, group or organization has the right to request to the OTP that they investigate an alleged crime.

In addition, when you sign this petition, the following email will automatically be sent to the OTP;
