Yasser Ali is in danger
Khartoum on January 7, 2019
First, we would like to salute the Sudanese people's stand in the face of repression, corruption and injustice.
Yasser al-Sir Ali traveled to Sudan on 20 December 2018 to visit his sick father who passed away on 22 December 2018.
On December 25, 2018, Yasser was shot by a sniper in Khartoum.
The bullet broke the sixth rib and pierced the right lung to settle near the ninth vertebrale.
Physicians in Khartoum did not perform surgery to extract the bullet
because it is in a sensitive area, and Sudanese hospitals are not equipped with the necessary equipment to perform this type of sensitive operation.
Yasser al-Seri spent 9 nights at Fadil Hospital in the ICU and was allowed to leave home on January 3, 2019.
Yasser al-Sir was supposed to leave Sudan on January 5, 2019, but he banned from leaving the country.

On the morning of January 5, 2018, an armed force with guns invaded his place 12 of them in civilian clothes, some of them masked.
The force refused to provide any documents proving its identity or any legal prosecution against Yasser al-Sir Ali, who was taken

So far, we have no information about his whereabouts or his health. His wife Hind Babeker Al-Nour sent a letter to the Director of the Security and Intelligence Agency, Lieutenant General Salah Abdullah Qosh, requesting his release given the gravity of his condition. She also filed an application to the National Human Rights Commission as well as a petition to the Constitutional Court for the same purpose.
In view of the critical health situation of Yasser Al-Sir Ali, we call on human rights organizations and human rights organizations to intervene to save his life and pressure the Sudanese authorities to release him and allow him to travel abroad to continue treatment immediately.
