I am impressed and excited about how much support has been acquired in the last year. However the fight will need to keep on throughout the years to come. At the current time the canoe sprint events for C-1 in the 2020 Olympics list as follow. 

Canoe Single (C-1) 1,000m (Men)
Canoe Single (C-1) 200m (Women)

By having so few events women are limited to the shorter distance while men the longer distance. This lack of variety is not healthy for our sport. We must keep pressing on to grab the attention of the Olympic Committee and the ICF and convince them to represent all distances of sprint canoe equally.
