save the Sea turtles

The Issue

sea turtles are endangered because people Slaughtered them for there eggs, meat, skin, and shell. The biggest threat is Entanglement in fishing gear, turtle populations to crash. ... Incidental capture of sea turtles in fishing nets and shrimp trawls can prevent sea turtles from reaching the surface to breathe.Sea turtles and their eggs are killed by people throughout the world for food, and for products including oil, leather, and shell.Sea turtles virtually everywhere are affected by fisheries, especially longlines, gill nets, and trawls. The most severe of these impacts are death after entanglement, habitat destruction and food web changes. Plastics, discarded fishing gear, petroleum by-products, and other debris harm and kill sea turtles through ingestion and entanglement. Light pollution disrupts nesting behavior and causes hatchling death by leading them away from the sea. Chemical pollutants can weaken sea turtles’ immune systems, making them susceptible to disease. Sea turtle habitats are degraded and destroyed by coastal development. This includes both shoreline and seafloor alterations, such as nesting beach degradation, seafloor dredging, vessel traffic, construction, and alteration of vegetation.Sea turtles have been swimming in the world's warm waters for millions of years. There are seven different kinds of sea turtles. After all these years, the number of sea turtles in the world is getting smaller and they're endangered. Many of the reasons are because of people and the choices we make.Sea turtles are endangered, which means they're in danger of becoming extinct or disappearing forever. People cause many threats to sea turtles. When we pollute the water with trash or chemicals, the water becomes less safe to the animals who live there. Leatherback turtles eat jellyfish, which look a lot like plastic. When these turtles eat plastic bags, they can choke and die. Pollution with chemicals may also lead to diseases in sea turtles. Catching fish for food is a big business. The problem is bycatch, which happens when fishermen accidentally catch other animals like sea turtles. Sea turtles can be hurt or killed by nets and tools. these are some reasons why we need to save the  Sea turtles.!!!!
