The inhumane and cruel killing spree of our beloved wolves continues. Spitfire, an honored Alpha Wolf's daughter, was massacred outside of Yellowstone Park last weekend, according to Huff Post. Spitfire was shot by a trophy hunter, as her Mom, "OH 6" was, in 2012. There have been more than 70 wolves killed in Wyoming so far this year! Where is the justice in this endless murder of the most misunderstood member of the canid family, the ancestor of the modern dog?  

The wolf symbolizes freedom, inner power, and is the heart of our wilderness.  Since being reintroduced, after 65 years of absence in Yellowstone, the wolf, is harmonizing our ecosystem in miraculous ways! Why are we not protecting these majestic creatures, so vital to our wilderness? Why?  We need to hear their howls for help, and save the wolves in Yellowstone, and beyond, that remain in mortal danger. 

Let's advocate for wolves in America in the following ways.

- Ban trophy hunting in America

- Re-enlist the wolf on the endangered species list

- Create a hunting-free zone around Yellowstone

- Sign and share this petition to show the Interior Department to protect the habitat for endangered wolves.
