Use Instant Replay on Any Questionable Call In the MLB

The Issue

The Major League Baseball (MLB) officials have been making noticeable miss-calls for over 20 years. The use of instant replay has been a very controversial thought and proposal. It had been shot down for many years but since the sudden up rise in calls that had been called but later reviewed and then later confessed that it was the wrong call.
Although the officials have admitted to making a bad call, the Major league Baseball’s president Allan H. Selig has refused to overturn any of the missed calls. Soon enough he has made some actions regarding the use of instant replay has been enforced, but only under certain circumstances. Those circumstances would be if there is question about a foul ball or homerun. Was it or wasn’t it? That’s the question that has to be asked to use the instant replay feature. Although there is an instant replay feature, it is not used to tell whether or not a base runner was out or safe. Whether or not a bad call was made can change the entire outcome of game.
In 2011 a pitcher from the Detroit Tigers by the name of Armando Galarraga had a perfect game going with one out to go in the bottom of the ninth. As a grounder was hit and the ball was fielded perfectly and what was thought to be the final out and what would be a perfect game, the runner unexpectedly was called safe by the first base umpire and it had taken probably the biggest event of his life. After the game the umpire had reviewed the play and saw that he made a truly wrong call. He had come out the next day and stated that he made the wrong call and he has taken something away from him.
If there would have been the use of instant replay they could have figured out that it was a bad call right then and there. The use of instant replay could enhance the quality and precision of the game. Baseball is a game that should not be cheated. If there is a play that has even one question whether or not it was a wrong call, it should be replayed.
