The SOUL Network-Seniors of Urban Living is trying to get a North Carolina House or Senate Representative to introduce the "Bubba" Scott Bill, which will allow families to install surveillance cameras, in the rooms of nursing home facilities, in NC to prevent various forms of abuse and negligence at the hands of healthcare workers. As of 2022, there are 14 states that have an established law, and it is time for NC to follow. There are many people that have been affected in some way by a senior being abused and neglected in nursing homes or long-term care facilities. There are many of you that would like to say, "iCare", and that can be accomplished by signing the petition. We are also seeking 100 volunteers over the course of the summer, which is another way of saying that "iCare"! Help us to reach our signature goal, and let it be known that “iCare”!

Announcement of the ICARE Campaign, Signature Drives to Support the "Bubba" Scott Bill Petition

The SOUL Network-Seniors of Urban Living NC is looking for volunteers to join us for various upcoming signature drive events throughout NC. The goal for these events are to obtain 50k-100k signatures in support of protecting our seniors in nursing homes from abuse, neglect, and mistreatment, which is why we are introducing to all NC voters; The "iCare" Campaign.
