I just was informed from the City of Saskatoon that the city’s transportation staff will collect traffic data at the intersection this summer to determine if the criteria for the installation of an eastbound to northbound left turn phase is met.  If a left turn phase is warranted, it will be prioritized with other locations city-wide and will be installed when funding is available.

I guess that is one step closer to accomplishing the goal.
