Again many thanks for your support in this endevour. 287 (as of 9:50 07/07/22 see the lack of a crossing as an issue, and I'm sure even more that have not signed the petition as yet!

In the latest news, this petition has been featured in 'Inside Croydon' (https://insidecroydon.com/2022/07/05/east-croydon-locals-call-on-council-to-reinstall-safe-crossing/ and I understand that it was a 'to-do story for the editors, which has now been put out there! Many thanks to Inside Croydon for shining a light on this issue!

I have also received an email from Cllr Patricia stating that she has set up a meeting with a council officer this month 'to review what might be done regarding improvements along Cherry Orchard Road', however she has also said that 'the only funds for such projects would be from the TfL who are currently concentrating their fund to Safer Neighbourheeds and School Streets'. I have offered my assistance if it can be used.
