Hey, yall! I'm very pleased to inform you that a work order has been sent to the USM Physical Plant for the installation of 6 new cameras around the exterior of Wilber Residence Hall. The lights behind Wilber have also been fixed. I have spoken to Chief Keyes about the safety of the students on campus, and he recommends speaking to UPD if anyone has any concerns or feels unsafe. Chief Keyes has also had any bikes that were on the racks behind Wilber for an extended period removed for beautification. If you believe your or your student's bike has been falsely removed, please report it to UPD as they may have it in their custody.

This is the beginning of a new era of safety and security for students living on campus. Thank you all for your support in making this endeavor possible. Each of your voices has been imperative to the success of this petition and movement for increased safety for all USM students.
