Protect Your Voice: Our Non-Retaliation Policy & Campaign Growth
Hi Team,
We are growing! In the last 48 hours alone, neighbors like Sophia, Toyin, Titilayo, Rosalind, and Brady have stepped up to share and sign. Our collective momentum is building, and we just posted a major strategic update on our main page.
Because we are organizing directly at the 2241 S. Halsted site, we want to remind everyone of the strict Non-Retaliation Statement embedded in our core demands to the DFSS:
Confidentiality: All supporter and resident identities must remain strictly confidential under our framework.
Protection: The petition explicitly demands that no client face service reductions, arbitrary shelter transfers, or unfavorable staff treatment for raising storage concerns.
Oversight: We are demanding a confidential complaint channel routed through a designated city oversight office, entirely separate from on-site personnel.
How to help today: We have crossed 54 shares. Please copy our direct link change.org/securesparcstorage and send it to one friend in Chicago who believes in basic human dignity.
In solidarity,
Concerned SPARC Residents
