As a dad of four, two of my children are autistic – and one is non-verbal. Like many parents in similar situations, I’ve seen firsthand how hard it can be for non-speaking children to be included, especially in public spaces like parks and playgrounds.

That’s why I’ve launched a petition calling for communication boards in all public play areas – simple, inclusive tools that help non-verbal and autistic children express themselves, feel safer, and connect with others.
