Hi Everyone,

It’s been really heartening to see how that signatures continue to come in each week. This continued response makes it clear that this request matters to our community.

A brief update: as of today, the 15th, I’ve heard back from the Vice Mayor Shebreh Kalantari-Johnson including Scott Newsome, Renee Golder, and Claire Gallogly. They are open to a meeting and I will work with them to schedule this in the coming weeks. I’ll share more details as soon as they’re confirmed.

I also want to share that there is a fundraiser supporting the motorcyclist involved in the accident, Nathan Flores. He is currently in Santa Clara Valley Medical Trauma Center in San Jose and remains in critical condition based on the article published on Feb 11th. The gofundme for Nathan Flores and his family can be found here if you would like to donate.
